The formerly bankrupt company has managed to come up with the MP-500, a sleek player in a familiar form factor (the company’s press release arrived with a subject line boasting of the player’s “nano format”), Under one of the markets thinnest shells (13 mm) you’ll find a remarkable width of functions, that includes audio, video, FM, voice recorder, and built-in speakers, with a fairly reasonable price of $242 for the 2GB version (a 1GB version is $189). Oh, and to differentiate this from that other “nano format” player, Jens is boasting that this one is scratchproof, and is available in both black and a bling-worthy gold finish (for $274).
